Marble bust in a niche, surrounde by a oval band with the text this bust is the gift of t. faulkner esq.

Annotation

The bust was made in 1766 for George Faulkner, a publisher and bookseller. The bust stood over Faulkner's shop door until 1776, when is nephew presented it to the Cathedral.
